ENVIRONMENTAL TRAINING, AWARENESS & COMPETENCE
Ship-owners can reap the benefits from well trained, knowledgeable team of seafarers always available on board. Our training institutes are located at the recruitment centers in Manila, Tianjin, Dalian and Pusan.
EMS training is mandatory and imparted in two ways. Shore based, pre-joining training and on-board training carried out by Master/Shipboard Environmental Officer.
It is mandatory for ALL our ship staff to study the OPA 90 course on board, and obtain the certification after proper examination.
We carry out regular crew assessments by ship visits to check on EMS implementation, awareness among ship staff, and whether any further training needs are deemed necessary.
